My practice explores presence through painting, using the body, the senses, and the materiality of paint as starting points.
I work mainly with oil on linen and paper, building and undoing layers over time. The paintings are not planned images but the result of a process: adding, sensing, removing, repeating. The work develops through a dialogue between what I feel internally and what happens physically on the surface.
I am interested in contrasts such as presence and absence, material and immaterial, inner and outer. These are not themes but working conditions that shape how the paintings come into being. What matters to me is not the final image, but the experience that takes place while painting and viewing.
Abstraction allows me to follow movement rather than represent something fixed. Form is never fixed; it shifts with perception, attention, and context.
My process is guided by intuition and bodily awareness. Through this, the paintings become a way to access sensation, memory, and non-verbal experience. They remain open, holding traces of different moments rather than resolving into a single, stable image.
